What it is

The best of both: nutrition today, biology for good.

Cutting back on synthetics is where most programs stumble. The soil is not yet alive enough to pick up the slack, and the crop cannot wait. Balance carries both halves. A full spectrum of major and minor minerals feeds the plant this season, while worm cast extract from native and compost worms, humic and fulvic acid, seaweed and molasses feed the biology that will do the job for free next season.

  • Immediate plant nutrition plus the biology that repairs tired or damaged soil
  • Worm cast from native and compost worms for the ideal fungi-to-bacteria ratio
  • Nitrogen-sequestering microbes that lift plant-available nitrogen naturally
  • Reduces the synthetic fertiliser a paddock needs, at much lower rates
  • Typical analysis varies: batches can be blended to individual soil tests

Brewed to your soil test

  • Send the soil test

A recent test and the crop you are putting in. If you have a leaf test as well, better.

  • George blends to the deficits

The mineral side of the recipe moves toward what the test says is short. The biology stays the same.

  • A rate and a price per hectare

The program you get is the one that ships, costed per hectare so you can hold it against your current fertiliser bill.

Handling the biology

  • Stir thoroughly before use; some sediment settles in storage

  • Filtered to 400 microns, so watch finer screens and nozzles

  • Test compatibility before adding other inputs to the tank

  • Natural product with live microbes: wash hands after use, never drink or inhale the concentrate

“The oat hay came up so healthy. Other local farmers have been stopping to ask what I put on it, assuming I'd used heaps of urea. When I tell them it was only WormGro, they can hardly believe it.”

WormGro Balance questions

Straight answers about WormGro Balance.

Plus is a biological 10:10:10, built for crops that need major nutrients straight away. Balance is the full-spectrum hybrid: the major nutrients at 5:2:0.5 plus calcium, magnesium, sulphur and the trace elements, carried in worm cast extract with sea minerals, humic and fulvic acid, seaweed and molasses. Plus replaces urea; Balance repairs a soil test.

Yes. Send the soil test and the crop and the mineral blend is adjusted to the deficits before the batch is brewed. The typical analysis on this page is the starting recipe, not a fixed one; what ships is what your paddock is short of.

Pasture 5 L/ha, grain crops 10 L/ha, orchards and vegetables 20 L/ha, applied as a foliar on green growth or through fertigation. Hungry crops like canola, cotton and small crops take a pass a month through the season.

Twenty parts water to one part Balance. A 5 L/ha pasture pass goes on in at least 100 litres of water per hectare; a 20 L/ha orchard pass in at least 400 litres. Keep pressure under 80 psi and apply late afternoon or evening.

Drawing the extract from both gives the brew a balanced fungi-to-bacteria ratio, which matters when the job is to bring a tired soil back rather than just feed a crop. Balance also carries nitrogen-sequestering microbes that lift the plant-available nitrogen in the system.

Multiply the rate for your crop by the drum price on this page: a 20L drum is $277, a 200L drum $1,777 and a 1000L shuttle $6,377, all including GST. George will price a full program per hectare with freight to your gate, and set it against what you spend now.
